Climate Change Adaptation in Mozambique

As a result of the combination of high exposure to climate events, high sensitivity and the low adaptation level, climate events have already severely affected poor rural communities in Mozambique. The NCAP project contributed to the identification and selection of adaptation measures for Moamba, Marracuene and Matola districts, that can be adopted in the short, medium and long term, and can be integrated into development processes.

The methodology used was a vulnerability survey protocol; similar to the one developed in the Tanzania NCAP project.
