Farmers in Chikwawa grow a number of crops, alongside maize, to meet their subsistence needs, which are affected by flooding and droughts, expected to increase in magnitude and frequency under climate change. This project considers practical ways to address these challenges, discussing the roles of different stakeholders at different levels in supporting adaptation, to develop adaptation pathways suited to the specific system. The costs to the different actors will then be calculated.
