Are you a scholar specializing in climate mitigation and/or urban adaptation?

Climate and Development, an academic journal published byย Taylor & Francis, is seeking new Associate Editors (AEs)ย to join its editorial team!

๐Ÿ”น What does an AE do?

  • Handleย ~10 manuscripts at a time, guiding them through peer review.
  • Work closely with theย co-editorsย and a small team of AEs.
  • Ensure aย smooth and constructive review process.
  • Supportย Global South scholarsย through mentoring and fair reviewing.
  • โ‰ˆ1-2 hours per week commitmentย โ€“ flexible but requires strong organization skills.
  • Unpaid roleย but includes aย journal subscription.

๐Ÿ”นย Who should apply?
โœ… Experts in social dimensions of greenhouse gas mitigation with social science or interdisciplinary methods and/or social dimensions of urban adaptation.
โœ… Scholars withย strong publication recordsย (ideally, including Climate and Development).
โœ… Academics with anย interest in teamwork & mentoring.
โœ…ย Preference for Global South scholars, but all qualified researchers are encouraged to apply!
