📢 The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is now accepting nominations for participants to attend two co-located workshops scheduled for the first quarter of 2026:
- Workshop on Engaging Diverse Knowledge Systems
- Workshop on Methods of Assessment

🔹 Engaging Diverse Knowledge Systems:
Explores how IPCC can include Indigenous, local, practitioner, and scientific knowledge systems in its assessments.
🔹 Methods of Assessment:
Focuses on tools and techniques for evaluating these systems, including AI, systematic reviews, and ex-post evaluations.
👥 Who Should Apply?
IPCC seeks nominations from:
- Indigenous Peoples and local knowledge holders
- Practitioners (e.g., policymakers, NGOs, community leaders)
- Researchers and scientists (esp. in social sciences and humanities)
- Experts in AI, systematic reviews, and climate policy evaluation
✅ Nominations from those whose expertise bridges both workshops and from underrepresented groups
