Does your climate change adaptation project/initiative in mountains: 

  • Explore and apply technologies, approaches, and/or processes to adapt to the actual or expected impacts on and risks posed by glacial retreat, snow and ice melt, and/or permafrost thaw? 
  • Harness benefits to livelihoods, economies, and the environment? 
  • Demonstrate financial, economic, and environmental sustainability and have the potential to be feasibly scaled‐up and duplicated in other mountain regions? 

If so, we want to hear from you! 

Present your adaptation technologies, approaches, or processes in our upcoming Adaptation at Altitude Knowledge Network “Solution Showcase”, taking place on the 29 October 13:00-14:00 (GMT).

We will feature solutions that meet the criteria on our Adaptation at Altitude Solutions Portal and highlight them in a visual output for the 2025 UN International Year of Glaciers’ Preservation.
