🔍 Do you have an educational project that uses maps, geospatial tools, data or innovative methods to help communities tackle environmental and cultural challenges?

The National Geographic Society is looking for bold ideas that empower people to act on behalf of our planet and its people. This funding opportunity supports projects that identify challenges specific to a particular place and leverage educational solutions using spatial thinking to inspire action on behalf of our planet and its people.

All topics related to NGS’s focus areas – Ocean, Land, Wildlife, Human Histories and Cultures, Planetary Health, and Space – are encouraged and will be considered. A portion of the grant awards within this funding opportunity will be reserved for project ideas related to freshwater in a specific place.
