The IPCC Scholarship Programme provides scholarships for PhD students from developing countries for research that advances the understanding of the scientific basis of risks of climate change, its potential impacts and options for adaptation and mitigation.
It encourages research on a wide range of climate-related topics, including living soils, biodiversity, regenerative viticulture, agroforestry, water management, Indigenous Knowledge Systems, and the terrestrial carbon cycle.
Award: Up to €15,000/year for a maximum of 2 years (2025–2027)
Deadline: 13 April 2025 (midnight CEST)
