Join MACC Hub's Flexible Funding: Sandpit Sessions to explore funding for innovative, action-based climate adaptation projects. Connect with researchers, communities, and organisations to develop collaborative proposals for up to £55,000 in funding. Free virtual events on June 18 & July 8.

Background

MACC will be funding up to 10 innovative action-based research projects with a budget ceiling of £55,000 for up to 12 months. The goal is to support academic-community collaborations that learn by doing climate change adaptation where it matters most.
💡 We are looking for projects that are:
✔️ Grounded in meaningful community partnerships
✔️Focused on implementing or scaling adaptation actions
✔️Centered on vulnerable groups most at risk from climate change
✔️Supportive of integrated, sectoral, and just transition pathways

Aim

  • Learn more about the fund and its priorities
  • Share and explore project ideas
  • Connect with potential collaborators across sectors
  • Start building partnerships ahead of the application process
