Water Resources Specialist
Water Resources Specialist in Yorkshire in England. I issue licences for the use of water, regulate water companies, lead drought coordinator for Yorkshire and have a key role in planning for 2050 water usage and future regulations. I have previously worked for the Environment Agency in on the ground compliance and enforcement work being a patch officer in Medway (Kent) and Don and Rother (Sheffield and NE Derbyshire). Currently Leading on a rewrite of the Yorkshire Area Drought Plan following a significant Drought event in the Area in 2022. I am always keen to learn about drought responses in other countries, Urban Water Resilience and Supply and how other countries regulate water use for Public Water Supply, Agriculture and Industry.
