Herbarium technician
I am a committed biodiversity conservation researcher and professional with a passion for natural resources conservation through sustainable development, education, awareness and stakeholder engagement. My aim is to make a significant contribution to species conservation, their habitats & ecosystems from excessive rates of extinction & the erosion of biotic interactions. I have experience in the Botanical Research & Herbarium Management Systems [BRAHMS], Environmental Impact Assessment and Biodiversity Conservation. Furthermore I have worked with the Millennium Seed Bank, Royal Botanical Gardens & Useful Plant Projects. I have experience in setting up and managing Herbarium as well as University Undergraduate Teaching and Practical’s. I have an active interest in local & international biodiversity conservation issues including the Kalahari conservation society initiatives. My major interest is in how we can ensure that the individual, group, societal & international ecological footprint does not exhaust our natural inheritance nor preclude future generations from the enjoyment of the same.
