PhD Candidate
Awinaba Amoah Adongo is a PhD candidate with the Department of Sociology and Social Work, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He holds a research Master of Arts degree in Sociology from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Ghana, and a Teacher’s Certificate ‘A’ (3-Year Post-Secondary) from the University of Cape Coast in Ghana. His research interests include PMTCT of diseases (HIV, hepatitis B, and syphilis), maternal and child health, reproductive health, population and health, migration and health, healthcare services, gender studies, health education, and public health research. He has a number of papers published in international peer-reviewed journals
