INNOVATION & PRESENTATIONS
• Dense Graded Bituminous (DBM) Mix Design using 40 mm size and down Aggregate with Optimum Binder Content 4.25 % as per MS-2
Method conforming the specifications to reduce bitumen content against 4.5% as per specifications to avoid bleeding and savings.
• Trial Mix Design of Cement Treated Base Course (CTBC) with Cement and Crushed Rock Base (CRBC) Course with Red Soil. Adopted
CRBC with red soil compliance the specification and other criteria as well resulting cost savings.
• Use of Fly as (Bottom Ash) Subgrade material with cover soil at the shoulder to retain and bottom ash as a Coarse material act as a
drainage layer where the project is near the Thermal coal based Power plant and saving transportation cost.
• Stabilization of Existing Subgrade material with Lime without disposal due to nonavailability of suitable material in the vicinity of the
project.
• Scarification of Existing Asphalt layer and pulverized with borrow subbase material and used in Subbase Construction without dispose off.
