Doctor in Systematics and Evolution with a double diploma in Geography and Earth Sciences of Texas Tech University, I am a researcher and full-time professor at the Department of Biology; Curator of the Mammals Collection; and Director of the Center for Highland Studies (Centro de Estudios de Alta Montaña, CEAM) of the Universidad del Quindio in the Central Andes of Colombia. I am the representative of the Universidad del Quindío to the Nodo de Cambio Climatico of the Coffee Region of Colombia, and Coordinator of the Informatic Platform of Climate Services on Health Surveillance of the Department of Quindío.
