Peruvian economist. Masters in National Development Planning and Social Management. Former Vice Minister of Agrarian Policies of MIDAGRI, in charge of formulating the National Agrarian Policy, the national Family Farming strategy and the national Rural Talents strategy. Former President of the Multisector Commission on Family Farming. Former Director of the Cooperation Fund for Social Development-FONCODES, where he led the redesign and reorganization of a program basically aimed at supporting social infrastructure, towards a productive development program with a territorial development focus. One of the pilot projects of the redesign – the Mi Chacra Emprendedora-Haku Wiñay productive capacity development project, was presented and highlighted as one of the 20 social innovation experiences within the 8th World Economic Forum for Latin America 2013. Former Director of the Rural Development Project in Microregions -PRODERM. Former Executive Director and founder of the Institute of Water and Environment Management (IMA); former Executive Director and founder of the Natural Resources Management Project in the Sierra Sur (MARENASS); and former Executive Director of the Puno–Cusco Corridor Project (Ministry of Agriculture Agreement and International Fund for Agricultural Development). Former Director of Rural Services in the Rural Agrarian Productive Development Program - AGRORURAL of MIDAGRI. Member of the Board of Directors of INCAGRO, of the Competitiveness Compensation Program (AGROIDEAS); and the Municipal Fund of Cusco. Currently National Coordinator of the Project Sustainable management of agro-biodiversity and recovery of vulnerable ecosystems in the Andean region through important systems of global agricultural heritage (GIAHS), GEF-MINAM.
