Director of Science, Technology and Innovation Unit
Dominique Mvunabandi is Director of Science, Technology and Innovation Unit within Rwanda National Commission for UNESCO (RNCU). He holds BSc in conservation biology and MSc in Geo-information sciences and Earth observation for Natural Resources Management gained at the Faculty of Geo-information science and Earth observation (ITC), University of Twente, the Netherlands. He have extensive training in the use of Geographic Information Technologies in education and research. His education, work, research, consultancy and community work experience has been concentrated on climate science, surveying, sustainable agriculture, food security, weather and carbon studies, biodiversity conservation, environment sciences & management and wildlife management and conservation.
