I was trained in Agrometeo and graduated from Technical
Officer (1991), DUT (BTS) of senior technician in Agrometeo (2000) and holds a Diploma on
Engineer Agrometeorology design. Integrated into the public service in 1992, I worked as head of agro-meteorological station between 1992-1998. From 2000 to 2004, I managed climate database as a member-editor of Multidisciplinary Working Group for monitoring the crop and a member of the team responsible for seasonal forecasting in West Africa, Chad and in Cameroon (PRESAO). I successively integrated coordination of National Programme of Action and 38 Adaptation to climate variability and climate change (NAPA), the Designated National Authority (DNA) and the Multidisciplinary Technical Team responsible for the implementation of the Framework Convention United Nations on Climate Change (UNFCCC). I signed a contract with UNDP for the study of vulnerability and adaptation to climate change in the framework of the second national communication of Chad (2010). In ACMAD, I have the position of Application Specialist Climate whose main activity is focused on climate monitoring and seasonal climate forecasts. It helps to produce several seasonal forecasts on all climate zones (PRESAO, PRESANORD, PRESAC, PRASAOI ). I represented ACMAD in several meetings on early warning of weather, including drought and floods. It uses the AfricaView software as a tool to monitor droughts.
