Social Ecological Systems Analyst
He is an integrated researcher with deep interest on how social-ecological system dynamics delineate exposures, vulnerabilities, and adaptations to environmental and climate markers, particularly semi-arid agroecologies. His current research interest is on a range of issues around the social science of climate change and productive landscape sustainability. Over the last 12years, his education and involvement in several projects has deepened immensely his experience in research, stakeholder engagement, and the use of relevant methodologies and tools like cost benefit analysis, indicator approaches, citizen science and geographic information systems. Working under research projects, he offered expertise, assessing the different dimensions of social-ecological systems’ sustainability. Through his education, previous job, and projects, he has built a broader network of local and international scholars, local governments, government agencies and departments, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). At IWMI, he supports the multidisciplinary designs and implementation of integrated social ecological and techno-institutional research towards the transformation of land, water and Agrifood systems in defined landscapes in West and Central Africa.
