Food Security and Livelihoods advisor
I am graduate of the University of Aberdeen, UK (Masters in Agricultural Economics with dissertation on management of food security and livelihoods improvement interventions in Pastoralist communities of Borana, Ethiopia), and University of Alemaya in Ethiopia (Bachelors degree in Agricultural Economics).
I have extensive experience managing food security and livelihoods interventions with the non-profit sector (including DCA) and government offices covering development and rehabilitation programs as well as emergency and post-emergency support in Ethiopia and other countries in eastern Africa.
