Currently, I am working on two specific topics: geomorphology and geological risks (mainly hydrologic and landslide-related). On the first topic, we are finishing an interesting study on the use of fluvial geomorphology as a tool for mapping flooding and flash flood events in two regions currently urbanized. On the second topic, we are characterizing the exposition to flooding on critical infrastructure in Aguablanca in Cali (Colombia).
