Miraflor Santos

I am a Filipina - American student from California studying at New York University, Abu Dhabi in the UAE. I want to help marginalized communities adapt to climate change and protect marine ecosystems in the Coral Triangle. I want to have a good understanding of environmental science, policy, economics and management and marine science so I can solve environmental problems from interdisciplinary angles. I am also an aspiring digital storyteller who wants to create art films, documentaries, photo essays, and long-form journalistic essays about the people, places and issues I encounter.
