Senior Environmental Consultant
I am a senior environmental consultant at Environics, SAE "Environment & Development Advisors" with seventeen (17) years of experience in the field of environment. I hold a bachelor degree of sciences, chemistry and physics departments, faculty of sciences, Cairo University. I hold also a diploma of Laser applications in metrology from the National Institute of Laser Enhanced Sciences (NILES), Cairo University; also, I hold a diploma of professional program in environmental engineering from the Engineering and Sciences Services (ESS), American University in Cairo (AUC) as well as online course of introduction in strategic sustainable development from Blekinge Institute of Technology, Karlskrona, Sweden.
I have started my environmental professional career as an environmental researcher at the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency (EEAA) in the central laboratory for environmental monitoring. I also worked as an environmental laboratories advisor as a team member in the technical and administrative support team for the Presidency of Meteorology and Environment (PME) in Jeddah, KSA.
Over the past seven years, I have successfully participated in providing environmental consultancy services by conducting environmental and social impact assessment (ESIA), scoped environmental impact assessment studies (Scoped EIA), environmental and social due diligence (ESDD), environmental audits, environmental compliance action plans, environmental site assessment (phase I and phase II), environmental monitoring programs in many sectors in Egypt including power production & transmission, oil & gas, chemicals, petrochemicals, fertilizers, food & beverages, waste management, pipelines, quarries, infrastructure, tourism & recreational facilities, pharmaceuticals, administrative workspaces, health care facilities, educational facilities and other sectors.
