Researcher
I am a Climate Change Adaptation Researcher in Zambia. I have a passion for rural livelihood research and the use of creative and practical approaches to achieve social change. My work focuses on the social aspects of climate adaptation, particularly at the science-policy-practice interface in developing country contexts (especially in Africa but not limited to).
My diverse work and interests include Fisheries livelihood and climate change adaptation i.e; climate knowledge brokering; adaptation decision-making; social learning, social change and monitoring, evaluation and learning; the integration of community-based and ecosystem-based adaptation approaches; vulnerability and livelihoods; and adaptation and mitigation synergies. I also have a strong interest in the links between climate change and gender aspects, especially with regards to differentiated vulnerability and gender-sensitive adaptation strategies.
