• Founded the Green Governance Zimbabwe organisation
• Over 5 years of experience in Climate Finance Governance, Alternative Forestry Products, environmental sustainability and climate change in Africa.
• 5 missions for forestry and climate change reviews. Most of them were related to REDD+ and were based on Forestry Governance mechanisms and supporting REDD+ Benefits monitoring mechanisms
• Nearly 5 years of experience in project monitoring on forestry linked to climate change. Worked with TI and TI-Z in ensuring Measuring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) on implementation of the uNFCCC to inform on the implementation of activities relating to climate change mitigation.
• Professional experience in sustainable development programmes and projects, with particular focus on policy formulation, sustainable development, climate change mitigation and adaptation, REDD+, institutional development
• Spearheaded TI-Zimbabwe Climate Finance Governance Project in 2013
• Contributed to the Zimbabwe and Regional REDD+ Corruption Risk Assessment Report (2016)
• Experience in (co-operation with) international funding agencies and development partners including EU, FAO, SIDA as well the private sector investors in forestry, CDM projects, and civil society.
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining professional and productive relations with national and provincial government, consultants, research institutes, developing partners, NGO’s, etc.
• Conversant with project cycle management and donor aid delivery methods, incl. budgetary requirements and procurement formalities; project and programme evaluations; institutional strengthening and technical capacity building.
