Research and Lecturing
Currently, I hold a teaching, research and evaluation position with the Department of Agricultural Economics and Extension as a Development Programme and Gender Evaluation, Management and Communication specialist in the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Uyo, Nigeria. I have been involved in research and teaching of Agricultural and Rural Development Service programming and delivery, which cut across the following areas of community development such as environmental and climate change, food security, health, agricultural skills acquisition, and entrepreneurial education for more than twelve (12) years.
I hold two master's degree certificates in Agricultural Extension and Rural Development and also Educational Evaluation and also Advanced Certificate in Global Environmental Change and Water Vulnerability for Africa in the context of the Millennium Development Goals and a Diploma in Computer Studies. I have documented over fifty-five (55) evaluative research publications and I have shared knowledge through presentations and peer-reviewed articles published within and outside Africa.
Aside from my working experience, I have practically applied the theory of change, outcome mapping and other evaluation and measurement techniques in arrays of consultancy jobs that demanded social service programme delivery effectiveness evaluation bothering on Sociology of Development and Agriculture, Nutritional Assessment and Rural Development. Aside from teaching and research experience during this period, I have been serving through individual and team appointments within immediate and outside the University communities.
