I’m the Founder/Executive Director of Africa Development Communication Associate Limited, with a primary goal: “To apply state of the art communication strategies to address social issues in a cost effective manner,” at grass root level in rural Zambia, Southern Africa. African Development Communication Associate Limited is aware that Universal Access to Information has in particular relevance with the new 2030 Global Development Agenda, and in particular with Sustainable Development Goal target 16.10 which calls for ensuring public access to development information and communication by the poor and marginalized communities. Therefore, African Development Communication Associate Limited is now managing a Centre for the Reporter’s PEN Innovations in which we are making raw media materials for other organizations such as producing video documentaries on Nutrition for Lundazi District Nutrition Coordinating Committee in Zambia, Southern Africa. Last year - 2016, we contributed content to the ‘Voice of the Farmer’ radio programs for Zambia National Farmers’ Union aired on Zambia Nation Broadcasting Corporation (ZNBC), Radio 2 channel. We are also offering a service of News, Information and Marketing, by providing an accurate and up to minute account of all events of importance taking place; and transmitted to diverse media houses such as: Agri-business Broadcasting Network (ABN) TV, Global Knot Magazine and the Sower Magazine, The Agricoop Newspaper, The New Age Newspaper, The Zambian Farmer Magazine. The institution is a partner with Legacy Publishing (Zambia) Limited; and shares the key philosophies of Research in Development in efforts to promote access to and utilisation of research knowledge results.
