Data Scientist/Educator
I worked as the Biostatistician in the Research Division of the Ministry of Agriculture in Trinidad. I worked at the Caribbean Health Research Council (CHRC) in 2004-2005 as a Health Research Scientist instrumental in data collection for the Caribbean Cooperation in Health Initiative (CCH II). From 2006-2011 I worked at the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT) as faculty, instrumental in the MESCA (Mainstreaming Environment and Sustainability in Caribbean Universities) initiative and developing graduate programmes in Environmental Science and Management & Health Administration. From 2012-2017, I taught Biostatistics and Research Methods at the University of the West Indies (UWI), Trinidad, and worked as an Environmental Consultant with the Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre, Belize and the Cropper Foundation, Trinidad. I currently work as a director in my company, Data for Development and Management. Have a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering and Science, MA in Statistics and MSc in Biometry.
