Mr. Sohel is an experienced Climate Change and Project & Programme Management Specialist with the proven ability to lead, manage and implement projects in different segments, such as Climate Change, Agriculture, National Adaptation Plans, Good Governance, Project & Programme Management, Organizational Development, Liaison, Capacity and Competency Development and so on. He has completed a Master of Development Studies (MDS), a Master of Business Administration (MBA), a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management (PGDFM), a Postgraduate Diploma in Urban Management Tools for Climate Change from the Institute For Housing and Urban Development Studies, IHS, Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands. He has more than 22 years of multidisciplinary job experience with government, international organizations and private sectors. He worked with multilateral and bilateral organizations on different policy and plan issues, technical issues and procedural issues. He is very much familiar with the GoB policies, plans and procedures. He is also experienced with project proposal development, feasibility analysis, stakeholder mapping, policy analysis, government negotiation and stakeholder collaboration, web-based monitoring and evaluation, log frame development, operational management, organization development, capacity development, facilitation, reporting, knowledge management and so on. He has also developed many tools on climate change, gender, agriculture and so on. He is a certified collective leadership specialist. He has the ability to work in a team-oriented environment and multicultural environment. He can analyze issues based on reading, discussion and observation to provide prompt and succinct written and oral recommendations, options and strategies. He can organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a demanding environment, identify possible discrepancies in information, monitor key data and other trends, call appropriate attention to problems and tenacity to follow up on action items.
