I work for Glasgow and Clyde Valley Green Network Partnership as the Seven Lochs Project Coordinator. The Seven Lochs Project aims to create a new 20sq km nature / heritage park with links to a wider green network spanning the Glasgow City and North Lanarkshire Council boundary. Plans for the park aim to protect and enhance the areas important heritage assets while also integrating up to 4500 new homes into this sensitive wetland environment through the creation of new green infrastructure. We hope the Seven Lochs Wetland Park will be an exemplar of green network planning and delivery.
