I am a machanical engineer turned to energy and environment practice since 1997. My special areas of interests are thermal power energy, renewable energy, climate change and circular economy .
I served as the founding CEO of National Cleaner Production Centre Sri Lanka introducing resource efficiency practices, techniques and technologies to industries.rtherServed as the president of Asia Pacific Roundtable for Sustainable Consumption and Production from 2011 to 2014. I am a visiting lecturer in Resource efficiency and Climate Change in several universities. I served as the team leader for Vulnerability and Adaptation Measures Chapter for Third National Communication in Sri Lanka. Currently I serve as the chairperson of National Expert Committee on Climate Change Mitigation and President of Lanka Responsible Care Council. Also serve as a Director of Business and Industry Development Services (BIDS) private Ltd and Industrial and Business Integrated Services(IBIS).
