Executive Secretary and Research Director
I am presently working as Executive Secretary and Research Director of the Centre for Earth Research and Environment Management (non-profit NGO) and Senior Consultant Scientist of the Nansen Environmental Research Centre (India). PhD in Hydrometeorology and received advanced training in Water Management, Coastal Zone Management and Water Economics from International Institutions. More than thirty years’ experience in teaching and research and has completed six international projects. Serves as reviewer of five international scientific journals and evaluator of research projects for International institutions. Member of several global level programmes related to climate, water and environment. Also serve as member of the Drought Monitoring Cell of the Sate Planning Board and visiting faculty in two Universities. Present research focuses on climate change impact on natural resources, agriculture and urban centres.
