Europe Freshwater Director
I am Europe Freshwater Director for The Nature Conservancy, based in London in the United Kingdom. I lead the development and implementation of a coordinated European Freshwater Program which works on critical freshwater challenges affecting the health of rivers and associated freshwater systems in Europe. This work includes increasing the resilience of watersheds, restoring and protecting rivers and siting renewable energy siting strategically to avoid impact from hydropower development. I joined TNC Europe in 2018 bringing 20+ years experience supporting financing, institutional and regulatory reforms in the water sector. I started her career as a consultant, working for NERA (an economic consultancy) and ERM (an environmental consultancy) before setting up and running a consultancy and working as a Senior Economist in the World Bank Global Water Practice. I hold a double Masters in international affairs and economic development from Columbia University and Sciences-Po in Paris as well as a bachelor in history and geography from the Sorbonne University.
