National convenor of an once pan-India people's science campaign, called Bharat Jan Vigyan Jatha. A leading analytical and just voice from the civil society and on behalf of marinalized groups. Have written / co-authored several books, contributed regularly to periodicals etc, and taught high school science teachers in many parts of India - on env issues. Presently - Convenor of Climate & Energy Group - Beyond Copenhagen collective, and one of the founder members - India Climate Justice platform.
