Senior Officer DRR and Climate Resilience
I am a development and humanitarian professional with specialization in disaster risk reduction, drought risk reduction, ASALs food security and livelihoods, Climate change adaptation (CCA), Integrated natural resource management and pastoralist livelihoods systems in Arid and Semi –Arid areas of Northern Kenya. With over 6 years of experience in result-based project development, program design, management, implementation, stakeholder coordination and engagement, monitoring and impact evaluations, I also have functional knowledge of assisting with resources timelines and budgets, in-depth knowledge of disseminating project information to concerned departments, and highly skilled in developing and managing project deliverables. I have knowledge in conducting trainings and capacity building, and effectively interpret guidelines, and consolidate information for assigned programs.
