Research Associate
I am an inter-disciplinary researcher focusing on climate change adaptation and risk communication in southern Africa. My current research interest is focused on the use of future climate information to inform climate change adaptation plans and processes at a national level. Using risk communication, I will test the effectiveness of different types of future climate information for improving understanding of decision makers, boundary people and intermediate groups that are involved in national adaptation planning. Previous research has focused on food security, food and agricultural systems and vulnerability in low-income countries.
