Director and Co-Founder at Type Four Projects - a startup helping purposeful organisations tackle their toughest challenges by providing consulting and training through a more accessible and agile subscription approach.
With a career spanning industry and academia my experience focuses on translating theory into practice to deliver enhanced outcomes for clients around the themes of innovation, digital transformation, technology development, collaboration, data structuring & analysis, strategy development, project management, business model innovation, systems thinking and supply chain management.
Retaining a passion for research, I hold the position of Visiting Academic Research Fellow at the University of Bristol, supporting the Department of Engineering in the development of Systems Thinking research and activities. With a doctorate in Systems, I remain an active member of the research community having published several articles on the topics of open innovation brokerage, inter-organisational collaboration and technology development.
An experienced project manager and PRINCE2 practitioner I'm an advocate of measuring organisational and project success beyond the traditional profit lens, ensuring the definition of performance includes people, planet and purpose. I am also an active member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology and the International Society for Professional Innovation Management.
