DaFabians Global Relief Initiative (DFGRI) is a woman-led nongovernmental organization of individual volunteers and staff dedicated to creating a world in which all communities, particularly the most vulnerable, have access to clean, reliable, and affordable renewable energy and are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to adapt to the impacts of climate change while promoting sustainable development and environmental conservation.
Our mission is to facilitate access to affordable, reliable, sustainable, and renewable energy and climate change adaptation interventions to vulnerable, displaced communities. DaFabians Global Relief Initiative was established in 2021 with headquarters in Maiduguri, a base in Ngala, a liaison office in Abuja, and a presence in Yobe and Adamawa. We seek to improve the well-being, resilience, and self-reliance of the most vulnerable. Our focus is on renewable energy for community facilities, income-generating activities, and climate adaptation
