Internet and Project Manager
I am a coordinator and project manager in the field of #climate change & #adaptation, #sustainability & water, and hold a MSc degree on Soil Science from Wageningen University, and nowadays working in the Climate Resilience Research team of Wageningen Environmental Research. In my spare time I am contributing in sustainability associations in the city of Amersfoort as co-worker, chair or social innovator.
From 2007 onwards I've been working in European & Dutch programmes with regard to climate change & adaptation research & urban social development. As a project manager I am involved in #urban & climate adaptation services, and organizing users session to assess their needs. As a web manager, I'm coordinating dozens of websites, Linkedin Groups, Twitter accounts and project newsletters. Often I organize a workshop or a conference, or contribute to books.
Currently, I carry out activities for the EcoShape programme Building with Nature, Joint Programming Initiative on Climate (JPI Climate), Copernicus Climate Change Service projects, Climate ADAPT (EEA), Adaptation, Carbon & Urban platforms, and still disseminating results from the concluded Kennis voor Klimaat Research Programme, and Delta Alliance Foundation. Others are: EU Framework Programmes for water stress in Europe, the Carpathian & Himalayas & Amazonian area.
