Julia J. Aguilera

Julia Aguilera Rodriguez holds a Master's degree in Environmental Science with a specialization in Climate Impacts from the University of Geneva. As a Research Assistant at the same institution, Julia investigates on the institutional, social, and economic factors that influence the effectiveness of climate adaptation actions in global mountain regions. Additionally, she examines the challenges and opportunities related to the adoption of Nature-based Solutions (NbS) across Europe, aiming to promote the integration of these solutions into broader climate and sustainable development strategies. Julia is particularly interested in the enhancement of livelihoods and well-being of vulnerable communities through effective climate action.
