Kalimalwayo's journey, marked by resilience and determination, reflects his commitment to overcoming challenges, including societal stigma and mental health issues, to pursue impactful work. His diverse experiences in project management, monitoring and evaluation, and innovation have uniquely positioned him at the intersection of agricultural extension and global environmental challenges. A son of a former refugee, Kalimalwayo carries a deep sense of empathy and a vision for positive change. His academic pursuits, coupled with a wealth of practical experience, align seamlessly with his passion for creating sustainable solutions to the critical issues in renewable resource management.
