Kanchana Werakoon

I am the founder of a NGO Eco Friendly Volunteers (ECO-V) in Sri Lanka. We are active in Climate Change mitigation and adaptation at grass root level projects and working more towards awareness raising. I am more involved with Youth and Climate change and driving them towards to be more sustainable leaders. I conduct many awareness campaigns at National Level in Sri Lanka through media and through workshops, trainings and campaigns.
I also co-founded an organisation called Journeys for Climate Justice (JCJ) based in Melbourne, Australia. JCJ is encouraging new intiatives for meaningful carbon offsetting.
