Program Director
Mr. Yi Kim Than has been working for CEDAC since January 2000. He has a BSc in Agronomy, Royal University of Agriculture and MSc in Agriculture and Rural Development from International University with eleven years experience in a variety of participatory agriculture and rural development, program development, capacity building and training roles. He has an extensive background and skills in designing and managing development programs with further experience on local good governance and climate change mitigation and adaptation.
In 2009, Mr. Kim Than was promoted to the position of Program Director of CEDAC Field Program. As Program Director, his responsibilities include managing and coordinating multiple agriculture, natural resource, and rural development projects for the organisation. Currently, there are more than 20 projects being implemented by the CEDAC Field Program, focused on topics such as improving livelihoods, climate change adaptation and mitigation, agriculture development, food security, women’s empowerment, etc. Since January 2011, Mr. Yi Kim Than is also responsible for EU funded project “Promoting climate resilient livelihoods for Small-Scale Farmers in Most Vulnerable Dry Land Areas in Siem Reap and Kampong Cham Provinces.
