Senior Biogas Officer
Kenan Lungu has worked as Programs Team leader for more than 15 years. He is specialized in technical services for programme/project formulation, due diligence, renewable energy project implementation, results management and evaluation, performance-based systems and management methodologies. Prior to joining SNV in 2014, Kenan served as Programs Manager - CARE International Zambia (2010-2013), and Country Director at Olive Leaf Foundation in Zambia from 2007-2010 With more than 10 years of extensive experience in Pre-feasibility studies/Feasibility studies and design of Renewable energy sources such as Hydro Power, Solar, Bioenergy and wind, Hydro power Project implementation, testing, commissioning, training of Operations staff, operations and Maintenance works, Project evaluation and management in Zambia, Nambia, and China, Mr Lungu has a lot of experience and ability to critically analyse developmental issues, find root-causes and provide strategically sound suggestions for solutions. The main technical components of the subjects are of the energy sector, mostly renewable energy and project implementation with climate change mitigation/adaptation procedures. It also focuses on the funding, implementation and greening projects in hydro power, biogas and solar to protect the environment.
