Researcher / Technical Advisor
I am a Conservation Biologist & Ecologist with 8 years of professional and academic experience in nature conservation and sustainable development, focusing on climate change issues. Driven by a love for nature and inspired by the power of local action, I am dedicated to advancing ecosystem-based initiatives (nature-based solutions) for biodiversity conservation and increased social-ecological resilience towards water and food security in Peru.
I currently work as a researcher at the Nature-based Solutions Initiative (Oxford University), leading in-country work in Peru (NbSI Peru). I also work as a technical advisor to WWF Perú on nature-based solutions.
My interest in CBA is focused on Andean communities practicing protection and restoration of basin headwaters for increase water security.
