Assistant Professor
Philip Kraaijenbrink is Assistant Professor in Quantitative Methods in Extreme Environments. He is part of the Mountain Hydrology Group of the Department of Physical Geography at Utrecht University. He is a physical geographer with a strong technical skillset that he uses to study climate change impacts on the water cycle across scales, with a particular focus on mountains. For his research, he combines a broad range of quantitative research methods, such as cloud-enabled remote sensing, unmanned aerial systems, climate data analysis, numerical modelling, and (mountain) fieldwork.
