PhD Candidate at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology
I'm a Brazilian lawyer studying my PhD in Urban Planning in the boiling melting pot of Israel. Research-wise, I'm focusing on climate change adaptation plans, its legal developments and relationship to planning law. At my PhD I study the role of property rights in adapting to sea-level rise in different OECD countries. Additionally, I'm interested in the Latin American legal systems for urban and environmental development. In a broader aspect, I'm very interested on how environmental demands impinge on the institution of property - also philosophically speaking! Humanwise, I really like to meet people committed to make our world better, and I swear I don't speak only about planning law and property rights :)
