Director, Swinburne Leadership Institute
Samuel Wilson is Director of the Swinburne Leadership Institute where he leads research into public perceptions and expectations of leadership for the greater good in the government, business and civil society sectors.
He is qualified in social and organisational psychology and has held research fellowships at the University of Melbourne and Swinburne University of Technology and lectured in psychology at Monash University.
He is co-covenor of the Sustainability Leadership Learning Community of the International Leadership Association, a member of the Research Institute on Social Cohesion, a new initiative by the Community Resilience Unit of the Department of Premier and Cabinet, and a member of the coordinating committee for Global Climate Change Week, which encourages academics to engage with their communities on climate change mitigation and adaptation.
