Senior Researcher
I am working with Watershed Organisation Trust (WOTR), Pune as Research Consultant in Climate Change Adaptation Project. I completed Master in Philosophy and pursuing doctoral study in groundwater goverenece at Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. I was associated with Society for Promoting Participatory Eco System Management, Pune for three years in various activities of Forum for Watershed Research and Policy Dialogue (ForWaRD). I have been awardedprestigious ‘National Child Rights Research Fellowship- 2010’, by Child Right and You (CRY). I presented research paper on ‘Groundwater Management in Watershed Development’ in 5th South Asia Research Workshop on ‘Globalization of Governance – Implications for Water Management in South Asia’, arranged by SaciWATERs, in Thimphu, Bhutan, in May 2010. I also presented the paper on ‘Implications of Farm Pond Strategy in Climate Change Context’ in National Consultation on Farm pond Startegy, held by ICRISAT at Hydrabad in March 2012.
