I am Ayenew Gezie from Bahir Dar University Ethiopia. I received a masters degree in GIS from Bahir Dar University on May 2022, PhD degree in Applied ecology from Jimma University on June 2019, a Masters degree in Ecology and Systematic Zoology from Addis Ababa University on June 2009, and a bachelor degree from the Dilla University on July 2004. I have also certificate of professional competency of environment consultant, which is authorized by Amhara National Regional state environment, Forest and wildlife protection and Development Authority. I have also taken six week trainings on Research for impact, which was delivered online by the University of cape town and oxfam. Besides, I am a student of African Civic Engagement Academy 2022 owned by Georgia University. I have taken 5 different courses for six months. The courses were Productive Engagement with Government; Inclusion and Governing with Diversity; Media as a Bridge between Civil Society and Government; Nonprofit Management, and Program Design, Implementation and Evaluation. Each course has six modules, life changing they are. I have developed and submitted am impactful project if it would be implemented as a partial fulfilment of the training. The Training has, along with the training research for the impact I took, enhanced my competence on issues related to impactful project designing planning, implementation, evaluation and communication aspects.
I have also developed different projects which are related with environment and climate change, however, I have no strong international network to do impactful research in collaboration.
