Director
Director of Garama 3C Ltd, a small UK consultancy firm specialising in climate change and development, with a focus on adaptation, mainstreaming, M&E and training. We run annual courses on Adaptation & Mainstreaming, and Adaptaiton M&E, and also deliver tailored training packages to governments, international research organisations, and the private sector, including organisations implementing development and adaptation programmes. My own background is in climate science and adaptation research; I'm a Visiting Research Fellow at the University of East Anglia's Climatic Research Unit, and carry out research into past human adaptation to rapid and severe climate change. My research and consultancy activities have led to a particular interest in 'transformational adaptation', while my work on M&E addresses how we can assess the effectiveness of adaptation interventions.
