EcoContact – Aarhus Center

Eco-Contact is the successor of Milieukontakt International in Moldova and continues working as a close partner of Milieukontakt International Amsterdam. EcoContact which was registered in August 2010 but has a long history of activities since 2001, when Milieukontakt International started projects on environmental and civil society issues in Moldova.

Our mission is to promote sustainable development in Moldova in the social, economic and environmental fields. Besides that, we will contribute to the development of Moldova’s cooperation with other countries, particularly in areas related to environmental protection.

Since 2013, EcoContact hosts the Aarhus Center which provides the local population with information and legal expertise on environmental matters. The Center is created with the support of OSCE Mission in Moldova.
